There is a wonderful park only one corner away from the flat, called Károlyi-kert. The March 15 Square is only 150 meters far where the famous Mathias Cellar is located. From there the Danube Embankment is in a short distance.

Transport:

Veres Pálné Street has good options to travel as Metro 3 (blue line) goes nearby, catch it at Ferenciek Sqr. or Kálvin Sqr. You can change Metro 3 (blue line) to Metro 2 (red line) or Metro 1 (yellow line) at Deák Ferenc Sqr. Tram 2V runs next to quay via Petőfi Bridge (South Pest). Bus 15 and 115 go on Nádor Str. (coming from Lehel Sqr. via South Pest), bus 105 runs on József Attila Str. and leads you to North Pest or in the other way to Buda side. Bus 173 coming from Újpalota (North Pest), 7E, or 233E coming from South Buda (Budatétény). Night buses stop around the flat - mostly at Kálvin Sqr. - like 914 via North Pest (Újpest), bus 950 (almost from South suburb via North Pest), or 907 stopping by Ferenciek Sqr. (night version of bus 7).
